Anthony Edwards struggles vs. Thunder: How many points did he score?

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves could not overcome a slow start with their season on the line Wednesday night in Game 5 of the WesternConferencefinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Edwards scored six of Minnesota’s nine points in the opening quarter as Oklahoma City jumped out to a 26-9 lead. The Timberwolves were then outscored 39-23 in the second quarter. The Thunder cruised to a 124-94 victory and a spot in the NBA Finals.

Entering Wednesday, Edwards had averaged 25.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists through the first 14 games of the postseason.
